ABOUT ME
The world becomes a more peaceful place when individuals feel more balanced inside. Finding your inner balance will lead you to a place of peace, honesty and confidence.
I am a psychotherapist licensed with the Ordre des psychologues du Québec (OPQ) and the Registre des personnes formées en criminologie tenu par l'Ordre des travailleurs sociaux et des thérapeutes conjugaux et familiaux du Québec. I provide services in Montreal and surrounding areas. I offer individual psychotherapy to adults and adolescents experiencing difficulties in their lives, professional careers and relationships. I have worked in the therapeutic field for more than15 years.
My academic training is in the field of Social Sciences. I hold a Master’s degree in Clinical Criminology from the University of Ottawa in Ontario. I have also completed my post graduate training in Individual Psychoanalytical Psychotherapy from the Argyle Institute of Human Relations in Montreal, Quebec. My style is broad and I draw upon years of study, a wealth of cherished experience in the therapeutic field and my own personal journey.
As a qualified psychotherapist, I aspire to help you better understand your own thoughts and feelings while supporting your efforts to thrive under the pressures in your life.
My practice is based on acceptance and kindness. I hold a strong belief that there is no room for judgment in productive psychotherapy. I will work with you to create a therapeutic journey that feeds your personal curiosity, builds upon the strengths you already have and teaches you new techniques for coping with stress and sadness. Throughout this journey, there will be a focus on strengthening and protecting your mental well-being. You will learn to identify what you want your goals to be, what frustrations you face, what changes you wish to make and how to implement those changes in a safe and honest environment.
